plaster and plasterboard?
Hello everyone .. Firstly, what is the difference between the plaster and plasterboard? Second, I have two rooms inside .. the canteen, changing rooms and toilets places the wall is made of lightweight plaster 15mm, 100mm concrete block light and an outer layer of 15mm lightweight plaster. block is used as a Insulate? What is the plaster used for? General offices, meeting rooms and training areas. Plasterboard 25 mm gap of 50 mm, plasterboard 25 mm. Is the gypsum board used instead of a wall? Why? and why is he now 25mm? instead of 15? or is it simply because it is not the same as the cast? I know there are many questions but few answers to as many as possible would be incredibly useful! Thank you (this is a commercial building)
The plaster is a powder that, once water is added is used to smooth walls and ceilings. Plasterboard is purchased in sheets that are nailed or screwed fighting on wood. In modern buildings internal walls are formed from wood frames (with added insulation and soundproofing) and plates plaster is screwed on. thin plasterboard is commonly used for ceilings. However, it is quite possible to construct a wall using brick (plaster or similar) and go directly to it. This is a more tedious and costly. Normally, with a wall brick of a wooden frame would be added and drywall attached. I assume you plan to change the configuration. My advice is to talk to a builder. There are legal requirements for insulation, soundproofing and fire safety. You must also be very careful when deleting anything This is an old building to check the asbestos. It may be present in the drywall and insulation
