Union force bindings vs. Rome 390 bindings?
I'm having trouble deciding
what are the pros and cons about these bindings
I have a 2010 152 ride kink (purple)
and 2010 ride strapper keeper boots
what binding would be better for my setup
Ok the Union Forces are GREAT bindings. They're really, really durable, and come in great color schemes. Awesome binding for a park rider. The only thing is there really simple, and don't have very many functions, this can be a pro or a con depending on who's using them
The Rome 390, also a great binding. Super comfortable, feels like nothings there, however in the park these perform a little worse than the forces, especially on jibs. It makes them difficult because the binding has such a high profile that it makes it difficult to feel whats happening beneath your feet. The bindings are very functional and have many adjustment options however, and hold up amazingly on jumps and free riding.
So, in short, if you're looking for that simplicity and responsiveness for the park, go with the Force. If you're looking for a good all-around binding, go with the 390
